Community Guidelines

Formation exists for real driving communities to plan lawful, coordinated group drives and meets, and to keep each other safe on the road. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can get your content removed and your account suspended or banned.

Formation is for coordination, not racing

Formation is built for safe, lawful, coordinated club drives, not racing. Obey all traffic laws. You are responsible for your own driving.

There are no speed rankings, fastest-run features, or takeover tools in Formation, and there never will be. The best part of a run is who arrives with you, not how fast anyone got there.

Never allowed: dangerous and illegal driving

You may not use Formation to organize, promote, coordinate, celebrate, or take part in any of the following:

• Street racing, drag racing, roll racing, or any speed contest.
• Top-speed runs or timed runs on public roads.
• Street takeovers, sideshows, burnouts, donuts, or drifting in public spaces.
• Blocking, occupying, or shutting down roads, intersections, ramps, or highways.
• Reckless, careless, or dangerous driving, or stunting in traffic.
• Encouraging or pressuring anyone to speed, break traffic laws, or drive unsafely.
• Evading, obstructing, or fleeing law enforcement.

Never allowed: harmful conduct toward people

Formation is a trust-based, invite-only community. You may not post or send:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
• Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
• Doxxing or sharing someone’s private information without consent.
• Sexual content, nudity, or content that sexualizes minors.
• Violent, graphic, or otherwise disturbing content.
• Impersonation of another person, club, or organization.
• Illegal content, or content promoting illegal activity.
• Spam, scams, or unsolicited promotion.

Drive safely, always

• Obey all speed limits, signals, and road laws.
• Set up your route before you drive. Keep your eyes on the road.
• Use hands-free voice only. Do not handle your phone while driving.
• Every driver is responsible for their own vehicle and their own choices.

Report and block

Every place you can post, message, or see another member, you can report content and block users. Reported content is sent for moderation review and may be held while we look into it. We remove content and restrict or ban accounts that break these guidelines, and we act faster on anything that puts people at risk.

How to report

Use the report action in the App on the specific post, message, profile, meet, or club. For anything urgent or that involves a safety risk, you can also email admin@syncedupsolutions.com. If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
